Built in 1917, it now houses Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo, part of the Accor brand reserved for historic landmarks. The French colonial façade stands as it always has. Behind it, Panamanian architect Manuel Choy spent five years reconstructing the interiors, guided by archival photographs of the original club. The result is a hotel that feels rooted in the city's story rather than dropped onto it, with the old town at its back and the ocean at its feet.
